SATURDAY JULY 29

Drove all day from Chicago to Bob & Joyce's House.

SUNDAY JULY 30

Drove from Bob's House to Halfmoon Campground and arrived around supper time. Had a great campfire there near the trailhead with beef and onions for supper.

MONDAY JULY 31

9:34am : Left camp and started on the Seven Sisters Trail

12:30pm : Arrived at Lake Constantine for Lunch. Was roughly 4 mi. and 1000 ft.

4:30pm : The Pass

5:15pm : Today's campsite

TUESDAY AUGUST 1

11:22am : Left Camp

11:36am : Arrive Lake 12,220

12:00pm : Departed Lake 12,220

12:45pm : Arrived Lake 12,750

5:27pm : Returned to camp, it started raining.

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 2

6:30am : Left for Mt. of the Holy Cross

12:00pm : Summited Holy Cross

12:21pm : Left Summit

5:00pm : Arrived back at Camp

Had rice and chicken plus turkey teriyaki for supper. Great campfire.

THURSDAY AUGUST 3

Left Seven Sisters and hiked the Pass down to Lake Constantine where we set up camp.

FRIDAY AUGUST 4

Decided not to do Notch Mountain

Hiked from Lake Constantine back to Halfmoon Campground

Returned to the car at 2:25pm

Went to the Sheraton in Silverthorne. Ate at Old Chicago with Bob & Joyce

SATURDAY AUGUST 5

Stayed at Copper Mtn.

Drove Shrine Pass Road and hiked up Shrine Pass and got some pics of Holy Cross.

SUNDAY AUGUST 6

Drove through Buena Vista to Mt. Yale trailhead

Left trailhead at 6am and summited at 10am.

Left summit at 10:30am and returned to TH at 12:15pm

MONDAY AUGUST 7

Left Copper Mtn. and drove US 24 from Vail back to CO Springs.

Visited the Air Force Academy

Drove to Lexington, NE

TUESDAY AUGUST 8

Left Lexington at 10am

Hit Des Moines at 3pm

Arrived back in Chicago in the evening.
